You don't have to have it all figured out.

Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from being the one who always has to hold everything together. Maybe you've been carrying things around for so long that they've started to feel normal. Or maybe you're simply looking for a space to talk through what's been weighing on you.

Whatever brings you here, therapy can help you better understand yourself, develop new ways of coping, and move toward the life you want to build.

Now accepting virtual clients located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Some feel overwhelmed, stuck, or burned out. Others are navigating anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, or major life changes. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to sort through it alone.

Some of the reasons people reach out:

  • Feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted

  • Struggling with anxiety, panic, or chronic stress

  • Working through trauma or difficult life experiences

  • Navigating substance use or recovery

  • Experiencing relationship or family challenges

  • Feeling stuck in patterns they want to change

  • Exploring self-esteem, identity, or major life transitions

  • Seeking LGBTQIA+ affirming support and community

Sometimes trauma doesn't look the way people expect.

Sometimes trauma shows up in everyday ways that are easy to overlook. While some people develop PTSD after a specific event, others experience the effects of Complex PTSD (CPTSD), which can develop after prolonged or repeated difficult experiences. Trauma can show up in ways that aren't always obvious, affecting how we think, feel, cope, and connect with others.

Trauma can sometimes look like:

  • Always expecting the worst

  • Struggling to relax, even when things are going well

  • Feeling responsible for everyone else's emotions

  • Difficulty trusting people or letting your guard down

  • Feeling disconnected, numb, or "checked out"

  • Having a hard time asking for help

  • People-pleasing at the expense of your own needs

  • Feeling like you always need to be in control

  • Using substances, work, or other distractions to cope

  • Difficulty identifying or expressing emotions

  • Wondering why experiences from years ago still affect you

  • Feeling stuck in survival mode even when you're safe
