In-person in Boonton, NJ & telehealth throughout NJ & PA

Let’s talk about it.

Katie Rella, DSW, LCSW, LCADC

You’re probably good at handling things on your own. This is for the thing you haven’t been able to think your way out of. We’ll talk it out, figure out what’s actually going on, and go from there.

Warm. Direct. Occasionally funny.

This might be your kind of therapy if...

You know yourself pretty well. But knowing isn’t always enough.

01 You’ve already done a lot of thinking about why you are the way you are. You’re ready to do more than understand the pattern. You want to actually change it.
02 You want more room in your life for the things that actually matter to you. Your relationships. Your peace of mind. The parts of yourself that tend to get pushed aside when everything else needs your attention.
03 You want a therapist who talks to you like a real person. Someone who listens, asks real questions, explains things clearly, and pushes back when it’s useful.

What we can work on

Maybe one of these sounds familiar.

Trauma & Past Experiences

Maybe you know exactly where it comes from. Maybe you don’t. Either way, something that happened before is still affecting how you feel, react, or relate to people now.

Anxiety & Overthinking

Your brain is very good at thinking. Unfortunately, it also refuses to clock out. You replay conversations, anticipate problems, and can turn one thought into twenty before you know it.

Burnout & Perfectionism

Your calendar is full, your brain is tired, and somehow slowing down makes you feel like you should be doing something. Resting without feeling guilty has become its own project.

Relationships & Self-Worth

You’re noticing patterns in your relationships that you don’t want to keep repeating. Boundaries, family dynamics, people-pleasing, or how much other people’s opinions affect the way you see yourself might be part of it.

Also part of the conversation: ADHD, depression, life transitions, grief, and substance use.

Meet Katie

Hi, I’m Katie!

I’m Katie (she/her), a therapist, dog mom, true crime fanatic, and big fan of iced coffee. I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use.

My style is direct, goal-oriented, and collaborative. We’ll talk about what’s going on, figure out where you want things to be different, and make an actual game plan for getting there. I want therapy to be a place where you feel safe and supported, but also like we’re working toward something.

Think of me as someone in your corner, here to help you figure things out, make a plan, and cheer you on while you do the hard part.
